Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Bruce is a thoughtful respectful counselor. He's extremely full-bodied and well experience in life and therapy. He has a way of holding a space and exploring the feelings that can help someone get beneath those feelings and understand the crux of what is going on within the mind, brain, and body. Bruce's guidance has been instrumental in integrating perspective, therapies and understanding that have helped tremendously in my self-confidence, grace, and understanding of myself within the context of my whole experience in life. He has been invaluable.

Bruce was a light in some very extreme darkness! I was having significant issues with depression, relationship issues, job issues and Bruce made me feel very comfortable unpacking it all. The listening alone was substantive, but the actionable tips and advisement on changing my perspective really helped to ground me back in reality and see all for which I have to be grateful. I HIGHLY recommend Bruce and, when/if I come back to BH, Bruce will be my go-to.

My time with Bruce was great and I'm sorry to have to stop. After a prior bad experience I was hesitant about therapy, but Bruce always made me feel comfortable. He helped me through a hard time and gave me different perspectives and support a long the way. He helped with anxieties and finding my strength to push forward. After 8 years I've reapplied to finish my bachelor's degree and look forward to my future.

I turned to Bruce to help me better understand and address two issues that threatened the future of my long term marriage. In a handful of sessions and follow up texts, Bruce quickly absorbed the nature of these issues and offered insights, tools and the encouragement I needed to hear. I was impressed with his empathy, his excellent listening skills and direct and honest communications. As a result I feel like I have made substantial progress and I am confident about the future. My time with Bruce was very helpful. When things were too much or I was feeling overwhelmed he would talk me down and we would have just chats about life, work, etc. This helped more than anticipated. It’s nice to have someone to talk to about what’s bugging you in life and be able to give you helpful tips to combat anger and stress.

Where do I even start? Starting therapy with Bruce was one of the best things I’ve done for myself in years. In a time where I felt completely lost, hopeless, and scared Bruce was there to give me guidance and be a huge part of my healing journey. I’ve tried therapy in the past with two different people but it’s never felt like it was doing anything for me until I tried this service and found Bruce. I honestly have nothing but good things to say about him I’m super happy I found a great therapist!
