Danielle has been an invaluable help in turning my life around and giving me a brighter way to look at the world and the way I move through it. Her sessions are a great balance of critical/clinical expertise with LOTS of down-to-earth humor. Just what I could hope for in a therapist.

Danielle is the most kind and understanding person I have ever had the pleasure of talking to. She really puts things into perspective for me and encourages me to think largely when it comes to my feelings.

Hello, my name is Danielle (she, her, hers).

I believe that even severe mental health challenges can be viewed as imbalances and that our overall wellness is informed by our ability to engage in healthy behaviors and relationships. Many challenges, both internal and external, can interfere with wellness. I believe that healthy relationships are fundamental to our fulfillment as human beings and that often this starts and ends with our relationship to ourselves.

I am a licensed mental health counselor (LCMHC) based in New Hampshire and also maintain licensure for alcohol and drug counseling (LADCI) in Massachusetts. I have been providing counseling services for the past 10 years and am lucky to have worked in many diverse settings with children, adults, and families including outpatient, in home, and residential levels of care. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Anselm College and Master of Science Degree from Southern New Hampshire University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in co-occurring addiction.

I have worked with individuals and families facing many challenges, including relationship issues, trauma, ADHD, addiction, depression, and anxiety. I am certified in Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am passionate about addressing systemic barriers to care through social justice work and maintain an ongoing education focused on trauma-informed practices and cultural awareness.

The approaches I use vary greatly depending on the person I am working with and their preferences, but most often these might include dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, existential therapy, and client-centered therapy.

Whatever you may be struggling with, and whatever your comfort level is in talking about it, my goal is to help you identify current challenges and a path forward that works for you. There are no fees for initial consultation and if I am not able to address what you are struggling with, I may be able to point you in the direction of someone who can.

I hope I can be of help and look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Danielle has been the best therapist I have had so far. She listens really well and relates to things I talk to her about in a way that makes it feel as if I’m talking to a friend, not just a therapist.

I have never done therapy before so going into it I was really nervous. Danielle evaporated all of those nerves. She is AMAZING! She answers so quickly, provides amazing resources and additional things to look at and I feel totally comfortable spilling everything to her. She is great and I really enjoy talking with her.

We have only spoken a few times, there is a "bond" we share that if you don't/aren't experiencing it I feel glad for you. For those of us that have it only we can truly understand. I think we do.
