“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” – Arthur Ashe

Throughout our lives we are challenged by obstacles that can be difficult to manage on our own. Reaching out for help in those times can be incredibly difficult. Working with a therapist during those struggles in life can help find the insight into some of the most rewarding and positive changes we make; leading to a more fulfilling and peaceful life. The first step in making changes in your life begins now.

I have been working the mental health field for over 16 years with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, grief & loss, addiction & co-dependency issues, and relationship or family dynamics. I have provided services in outpatient, inpatient, residential, as well as rehabilitation long-term care settings to clients ranging in age from adolescent to geriatric, both in individual and group sessions.

My professional philosophy stems from the belief that every person deserves to live fully; with hope for the future and the self-respect to believe you are worthy of it. I believe every individual is capable of change and possesses the resiliency within ourselves to improve our lives. We will work together to identify the aspects of yourself that are not working for you and discover a healthier direction for your life.

Very compassionate and knowledgeable. Great at listening, gives advice at the right times in conversation. I'll stick with her as long as she'll have me.

Reviewed February 2023

Amelia is kind and compassionate - even though I did the chat options, that still came through. Meeting and talking with her lowkey changed my life and I’m so glad. She had helpful ways to get me to change my thinking and lots of coping mechanisms to use. I’d meet her in person if I could. :)

Amelia is a wonderful counselor. She is patient, non-judgmental, kind, and always offers helpful suggestions and tools to help me navigate difficult situations. She is also very flexible in scheduling! Love having her as my counselor!

Amelia is great! I do the chat options, but I can tell she's kind and friendly and knows what she's talking about and how to help. I'd meet her in person if I could. She's been very helpful in the few months I've been working with her, and I can't wait to keep going. :)

I have been seeing Amelia on and off for about 2 years. Amelia is an incredible counselor. She is non-judgmental, supportive, and she stresses self-compassion which is something I struggle with a lot. I have recommended friends to Amelia. I always look forward to talking with her. She makes me feel safe, comfortable, and supported.

I looked at a lot of profiles and Amelia seemed to have exactly what I hoped to find. I’ve been very pleased with her insight. We both come to therapy with experience so we could hit the ground running. I really appreciate that.

Reviewed April 2020

I am so grateful, Amelia helped me so much, challenging my mindset and identifying patterns that don't serve me. I am not the same person I was when I first spoke with her. Amelia is great, thoughtful and understanding! I've gained the insight and the courage to head in a new and better direction in my life!

Ms. Lambert is the first counselor I have had in a long time, but she has already helped me in many ways. She has great insight into the relationship issues I have talked about with her, and her advice has already helped me manage several stressful situations and identify boundary issues that are improving my day-to-day life. Amelia takes the time to respond to the messages you send, and sometimes the ones that you don't. When I have taken longer breaks between messages she often reaches out to offer advice related to things I recently spoke to her about or ask for an update to see how I'm doing. I believe that Amelia is a great counselor and she has helped me immensely in a relatively short period of time.

Reviewed November 2018

I really appreciate that Amelia offers tools and resources for me to work through the topics we discuss in our sessions. She's very thoughtful in her approach, and has helped me to broaden my understanding of some of the challenges I've been facing this year.
