I’ve been seeing Jen for a couple months and she has just been an incredible listener and someone to bounce ideas back and forth with. She gives me great things to think about. She has helped eased my anxiety and walked through difficult situations with me. I look forward to talking to someone I can say anything to.

Jennifer helped me immensely in a short amount of time. She helped me be brave regarding my actions in a relationship--in ways that I knew down inside but had yet to vocalize and act upon. She is a great listener, and able to quickly hear things that I don't even know I'm saying. She hears what's BEHIND the things I say. She has also given me more confidence in my own skills, abilities and life course. She's been great.

At any point in time, each of us are facing our own unique life's circumstances and their impact on us can be a lot to bear sometimes.

I understand and value the courage it takes to reach out for help navigating those circumstances. In some cases, those circumstances have to do with our past and some have to do with something more recent. My primary goal is to provide a judgment-free place to grow through and past what is getting in the way of living a fulfilling life.

I've been working as a private practice counselor for over 9 years working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families in Idaho. I've helped treat individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, family conflicts, co-parenting issues, blended family issues, self-esteem, and life transitions.

Whether you need assistance developing specific attainable goals for the short or long term, or working through historical, current, or situational challenges as your counselor I feel honored to have the chance to walk alongside another's journey.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I've never tried therapy before. I had no idea how good it feels to talk to someone about what I'm feeling and getting a genuine response. I've only been communicating with Jennifer for 3 days but that is enough to be optimistic that things are going to get better.

Jen has been so helpful to me. She is incredibly wise but also very relatable. Talking to her feels like having an older sister or relative who has a very sophisticated understanding of the human mind. I have been so amazed by her ability to really listen and pull out insights from what I share, and have appreciated her open and non judgmental style. 11/10 would recommend.

I came to Jennifer with relationship problems. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and she was able to still find ways to relate to my problems just like a heterosexual couple. Instead of being like other counselors and giving generic advice she found ways to get me to think about situations outside of the box. I would recommend her to everyone.

I am so grateful to have found Jenn! She is even more than I was hoping to find in a counselor- kind, compassionate, great listener, funny, supportive, encouraging... she is a great communicator and very reliable. My life is better because she's in it!

This has been my first time ever seeking/having therapy. Jennifer made me soooo comfortable. It was very easy to open up to her and discuss key things to help better understand myself and things I am dealing with. Everytime we meet I feel like I am catching up with a really good friend. She's never pushy or judgemental. She definitely ignites thought provoking questions and overall has been super helpful.

Jennifer is an amazing counselor! She takes the time to listen and get to know you as a person so she can give you the best tools to improve your mood and take charge of your life! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for guidance and support to help get through a difficult time.

Jennifer has stood out to me compared to experiences with past therapists because she truly listens to me, I don't feel judged or belittled and shes helping me by giving me tools to work with rather than telling me what to do. She doesn't trap me in a box with a certain kind of therapy, she adapts to my needs. Shes kind and smart and so nice to talk to!

Reviewed December 2018

She has helped me tremendously, I have a long list of stuff and she has responded to me in a very caring way. If something isn’t working she just moves on to another to try out. She has a really amazing personality. I enjoy working with her.
