Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Jason continues to provide many aspects of counseling for me. Not only has he made himself available consistently but he also offers so many resources to provide a well rounded experience for me as his patient. He is clearly a lifelong learner and listens to understand, not just to respond. I am extremely thankful for Jason and highly recommend his services to anyone looking to improve themselves and the relationships in their lives they wish to invest in.

Jason has been great from day 1! I came in a little iffy of the service but It has been a great experience so far. Hes attentive and kind with his words but is also honest with his feedback. I have felt listened to and understood and Im very happy to continue my sessions with him.

Jason helped me feel calm and inspired in the first ten minutes we started talking. He made an extra effort to find out about where I’m from and is genuinely curious and kind. We’ve been working together for a couple of months now and I look forward to speaking with him every time. Thanks Jason :)

Reviewed August 2021

I feel as though his calm nature and stable demeanour really help when talking there’s no judgement there are a few laughs that help ease the situation and the examples provided are very relatable I was very hesitant and was unsure during the first session if it was going to be an OK fit as I’ve had some other counsellors not work out before I actually look forward to speaking with Jason when I book a session and he brings me a great deal of relief after the conversation has been finished
