Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Kimberly does an excellent job and has helped me tremendously. The only complaint I have is the scheduling gets crazy and it is very frustrating when the internet goes in and out!!

Reviewed July 2022

She has helped me through a tough time. Seems to read comments and chats pretty quick and responds in a timely manner.

To have Kimberly just a text away is life changing. She is phenomenal in her ability to have me focus on one issue and really break that series down. I have/do go to counseling, have a therapist, have groups and read as much as I can to self help. However, once you are actually paired with someone like Kimberly, in this setting, you realize that maybe you have worked on a multitude of issues, but have you had the time to focus on them, type them out, review them and know what it means to your life. I also have PTSD. So, this gives me the chance to respond to Kimberly and text to Kimberly at any hour of the day or night. This way those thoughts don’t just circle in my head and become toxic. I can text (really emailing) Kimberly and she can respond when she goes to work. I have not just voiced my issues and moved on. Kimberly works with me “in” that issue, I’m not cut off by ticking clock and so forth. She allows me to be me in the moment for however long it takes to break down the issue. Thanks!

Kimberly is a great person to share details about your life. She offers constructive and objective feedback. Additionally, for the more complex issues she has a clinical perspective that is non-judgmental, but still inspires reflection.
