Dana is helping me work out of a shell, made of anxiety, isolation and depression. She’s consistently supportive and patient while I navigate my inhibitions.

Dana has been phenomenal in this horrible time in my life. Just knowing she’s there helps but it seems like she actually listens to me and doesn’t provide generic responses. I’m so grateful I found her.

Hello and welcome! I am so happy you are here and have decided to take steps towards your well-being. My name is Dana and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida with over 5 years experience in the mental health field. The types of clients I have worked with vary greatly and include schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties.

My approach to therapy is individualized, collaborative, and free-flowing. I often integrate CBT and solution focused therapy. I take into consideration a person's culture and background and I believe that people of all backgrounds and cultures deserve respect and dignity. My counseling style is supportive, encouraging, and understanding and I strive to provide a safe space and healing environment.

You have already taken the biggest, most difficult, and sometimes scariest step: reaching out for help. I'm so proud of you for doing that. I look forward to working with you and being a partner on this journey towards a happier you.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
