Our life path is full of ups and downs with unexpected twists and turns. We learn to develop a way of coping whether it is a positive or negative method to help deal with stressors or adapt to change. However, the majority of the time, we fall back on what we are accustomed to when dealing with a stressful situation or unexpected change; such as becoming confused, frustrated, emotional, withdrawing, angry, combative, or ignoring the situation and hoping the situation will just magically disappear or be resolved. Sometimes we need assistance to develop positive coping skills to deal with unexpected change or stressful situations.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families to overcome numerous challenges. Besides treating many mental health conditions, I have specialized training in treating anxiety, career, conflict, depression, grief, self-esteem, anger management, behavior issues, stress, trauma, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorder. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Solution Focus Brief Therapy, and Strength-based therapy. I encourage collaboration from you when designing a treatment plan to ensure it is implemented properly and to increase the potential for a successful outcome.

Your well-being is my priority, and I am looking forward to helping you meet your goal.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Where do I even begin. I came to Aritha with every single problem in the books (Literally) and at the time, I was considering medicating. Fast forward to now, I feel normal, I feel light, I have so much to look forward to in life which I am so thankful for. All this was accomplished in less than 3 months with Aritha. Even though I no longer require therapy, I still implement all the tools and technique Aritha provided. Once again, I am so thankful! I feel like a brand new person!

I have seen many therapists over the years with little to no results to speak of. To be honest, I was beginning to doubt the whole process. Aritha is the real deal. If you are looking for a magic pill to make everything better overnight, you won't find it here. Trust me, you won't find it anywhere. I've tried. It doesn't exist. BUT ... if you are sick and tired of being tired, then I highly recommend Aritha to help you on your journey. She tells it like it is and at the same time, genuinely cares about her clients. Like I said, she's the real deal and that is really hard to come by these days.

Aritha is a wonderful, warm-hearted lady that will call you out and make you realize how your mind is playing tricks on you simply with a poignant question and a look that says 1000 words. You will then burst out laughing or crying at yourself. Be warned. In all seriousness, Aritha has helped me understand myself a lot better within a few months of counseling. I genuinely enjoy the conversations I have with her.

Ms Aritha. There are no words to describe the amount of deep love I have for this woman. She allows me to talk, asks me the right questions, and is always pushing me to open my mind. I’m learning how to fight my inner voices, and accept myself as a whole. I’m realizing how beautiful I am. I’m learning boundaries. She’s helped hold me accountable. She encourages me to practice the self care I constantly preach about at the salon. I appreciate her deeply.
