Brett has by far been the most adaptable counselor I’ve worked with, both in session time and his ability to add insight to various issues

Reviewed March 2024

Brett is extraordinary. This is the first time I've tried therapy, and Brett made me feel at ease within minutes of our first session. What stunned me is Brett was able to surface a couple of key insights by the end of the first session. He then gave me homework to complete before the next session. My anxiety seemed to melt away after the first week and by our fourth session, we both agreed that my purpose for therapy had been achieved. I can't recommend Brett enough for his insights, calm demeanor, and honesty. If ever I need help again, I have absolute peace of mind knowing Brett is there. Thank you, Brett!

Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 13 years of experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, addiction, and have specialized experience in work with the LGBTQ communities. I have helped many people overcome challenging situations.

My counseling style is genuine and direct. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach is client-centered, with a focus of motivational interviewing to help encourage change. I want to help work on agreed upon goals, and help bring awareness to you. I am adaptable to assist with your circumstances and specific needs.

I think it takes courage to come to counseling. I find that being vulnerable safely with someone helps bring the possibility of improvement, awareness, and a better sense of self.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Brett is thoughtful and allows me to express my feelings. He is not directive with me, which, for me, is very beneficial for me. It might be useful for other clients, but his objective and non-directive is particularly useful for me. I learned a lot in one session with him.

Brett has, hands down, been the best therapist I have worked with. He's highly educated and experienced in his field, so he is able to offer such a wide variety of concepts, techniques and tools that have helped me overcome many obstacles in my day to day life. Brett is also extremely insightful and intuitive, and I found I felt both known and honored by him as well as challenged and pushed at the right times. Brett is non-judegemental, kind-hearted and genuine. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Brett is a great counselor. I had different preferences that he wasn’t 100 percent a match for when searching, but I gave him a chance and he ended up being 100 percent the guy I needed. I can’t recommend him enough, he’s a great listener and his advice is very good.

Brett is awesome. Opening up in therapy in the past has been difficult for me but Brett creates just the right blend of safety, positive perspective, and interviewing technique that really helps me dig a little deeper each week and get to the root cause of my issues. I’ve honestly gotten more out of a couple weeks working with Brett than I have in months with other therapists. Brett is knowledgable, gentle, easy to talk to, and a great listener.

I really enjoy talking with Brett. I feel like he listens to what I have to say and provides relevant feedback for me. The strategies that he has given me have helped me change the way I talk to myself. Even if I don't have much to discuss with him during my sessions, just having a regular conversation with him is very relaxing. Bretts suggestions and guidance have made a huge impact on my life in the last 6 months and I'm really excited to see what the future holds.

Reviewed June 2021

I'm very early in this and have only done a few sessions but can already tell that Brett is a good fit for me. He is keenly observant and pinpoints patterns in my behaviors that have escaped me. This is helpful since identifying these patterns can help me make changes I need to see different outcomes in traditionally troubling areas of my life.

Brett is so smart and funny and kind. He has made me feel like I’m not crazy and is helping me uncover so much about myself and my relationships that I would t have been able to get to on my own. Definitely and HIGHLY recommend him as a counselor!
