Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Dr. Walker is attentive, respectful and I am so happy to be working through my trauma with her.
Sarah is very empathic and supportive without passing judgment. She encourages me to discover more about myself and consider options.
Sarah is empathic, understanding and nurturing. I often feel misunderstood and judged by the people in my life and that I don't really have a soft place to land. I feel safe with expressing my thoughts and emotions to Sarah without feeling like I'm being too sensitive or like I'm judged for the choices I make or the relationships I keep.
I feel so honoured and blessed to have been paired up with Dr Walker through BetterHelp. Shes amazing and having worked together now for 9 months I couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thanks for the recommend BetterHelp
As always, Dr. Walker has been so helpful on a regular basis and I am so grateful for our regular contact.
Sarah is kind, compassionate, and a great listener. She's always willing to meet me where I'm at, and discuss the things that I'm struggling with in the moment. She gives me the reassurance I need, and is helping me learn to be more compassionate towards myself. She's easy to open up to, and I'm always met with kindness when I come to her with any issue, big or small. I feel like I've known her for years, and I look forward to working with her for as long as I need.
I have found Sarah to be very thorough and knowledgable. She takes everything I say and listens and helps me to look at some of the important pieces. I’ve found her to be kind and approachable and in no way judgmental with me. It makes me easy to say what I need to say.
During a time when I really needed someone to listen and understand what I was going through, Dr. Walker was able to do all that with care and great patience. Subsequently, I’ve been able to deal with a lot of situations in my life I don’t think I could have deal with on my own.
Dr. Walker is very caring and patient. She listens and adjusts what she does to what is needed or what I would want to talk about. In many cases, I went into sessions unprepared with topics to discuss and we just slowly uncovered what was actually bugging me. I'm very happy to have worked with her and will want to come back to her if I ever need more help.
Dr. Walker is the first therapist I have seen who takes the time to actually focus on areas I feel a need to discuss. It doesn’t matter if it’s repetitive, she listens and offers me guidance or ways of coping. It’s very refreshing to finally see a therapist who gets me and I am comfortable with to share my feelings.
She's great and has been a great support for me
