Love her, and her methods. She’s kind and very attentive to what you say and talk about. I’m sad to see her leave this platform but I am happy she can follow her heart to where she is going

Hello there! I am a licensed clinical social worker/psychotherapist in Florida. I have a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology/Neuropsychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology and a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California.

As a clinician, I believe that you are unique, and so is your story. With this in mind, it is essential that you are provided with a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment to foster resolution and healing. Although I work with a diverse range of populations, I specialize in working with military service members and their families. As a clinical social worker and a proud military spouse, I am able to understand the challenges and stress that is specific to military life, including its effect on you and your family.

I am trained in various evidence-based interventions, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution focused therapy (SFT), and person-centered approaches. I apply a strength-based approach and work with a range of presenting problems, including life-transitions, stress, body image issues, trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, and depression. I understand that each client has different needs and therapeutic goals, so I tailor evidence-based interventions to each individual based on personality, presenting issues, and objectives. Regardless of interventions used, establishing a genuine, trusting, and supportive relationship is the foundation of my work! I also focus on skill development and wellness-based practices, such as mindfulness, guided imagery, and breath-work. With these skills, you'll develop healthier connections with others, become more resilient when faced with stress, and generally feel much healthier and happier!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Sarah from the second I was matched with her, put forth 100% effort and time into me and made me feel comfortable and safe with a new process. She has been incredibly helpful every step of the way and I feel like I have been listened to the entire time. I look forward to our sessions every time I schedule one, and she has genuinely already helped me feel better and I look forward to the progress I make with her as my councilor.
