Hey!
My name is Martha Fenimore and I have enjoyed working as a licensed therapist for over 25 years. Having been educated
with a Social Work background has taught me how to see every person as an individual who is influenced by family, work,
sexuality, health, stage of life, finances, and social supports, to name a few. Identifying these influences helps both of us
better understand the reason for your coming to therapy and possible obstacles getting in your way.
In my career as a therapist, I have worked with a variety of individual, families, and groups. We have tackled numerous
subjects including self-esteem, sexuality, trauma, family of origin influences, relationships, depression, anxiety, career
development, goal clarification, etc. I enjoy helping clients identify their healthy coping skills and teaching them new ones.
My clients describe me as a good listener who is knowledgeable, encouraging, and non-judgmental.
If I am the kind of therapist you are looking for, please feel free to contact me at any time. I check my emails throughout the
day and will respond to you as soon as I am able. Please be aware that I do not go by the Better Help schedule, so give me
possible times you are available and I'll pick something good for us both.
Thank-you for your consideration. Martha Fenimore, LCSW

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Empathetic listener. Meets you where you are. Would highly recommend.
I had only two sessions so far but Martha has been a mazing since day one and very flexible with the schedule
Martha is amazing! Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone that will listen and really help you talk through what you're feeling. I felt comfortable with her almost immediately after my first session with her.
She has been a very attentive listener and an active participant in our discussions while still allowing me to complete thoughts entirely. It really feels like she cares about helping me and I don't feel judged at all.
I feel very comfortable talking to Martha. She understands my concerns and is open-minded and empathetic to the challenges I am dealing with. She also has a great sense of humor and is very down to earth. I like that she gives me assignments and reading material that helps guide me into the direction I need for healing. Great lady!
Martha is very attentive and offered thoughtful feedback. I would highly recommend her.
She is very considerate and listens well. She listens to my problems and has given me some solid recommendations
Martha is an amazing therapist. She made me feel so understood and listened to. She let me open up at the pace I wanted to, and was really understanding of my background. And she is such a great listener. Even when I didn’t know how to formulate my thoughts, she helped me put everything together and align my personal goals. She made me feel proud of small successes just as much as big ones. I felt like I always had someone rooting for me. After every session I’ve had with her, I felt so much relief. I would definitely recommend her!
Martha is a very talented therapist. I first became her client about 10 months ago, and she helped me work out some various issues in my life. I went on my way, and have been reading some self-help books myself, and realized there are some things that hit home with me that I would like to talk about, so they are not issues forever. I decided to work on this with a therapist, and luckily, Martha was available! I look forward to working on these new things with her. Bottom Line: Sign up for counseling with Martha if you are interested in someone who will listen to you, take time out of their day for you, respond to your messages in under 24 hours, put effort in to understanding you as a person, and give you tools and resources outside of therapy, that are designed to help you along the way. Martha is the key to helping you overcome your issues!
I've been enjoying my time with Martha. She takes time to listen and provide feedback without feeling too invasive, she lets me open up in the pace I want to and provides me with appropriate coping mechanisms. She helps using the prompts to guide the conversation and sources/evidence to why I behave a certain way. Martha's been great and helpful and would highly recommend her.
Martha is such a supportive listener and is really caring. If you need support of any kind, she can lend an ear and listen, and lead you on the right path. She helped me cope with anxiety, anxious thoughts, and family problems. I now have the tools (and a few books
Martha has made my experience with better help easy. She has made me feel like it’s a safe haven when talking to her. She listens and supports me and I would definitely recommend her to friends or colleagues
Great listener, non-judgmental, easy to talk to and provides direct feedback/steps on how to recognize, address, and fix issues. Always looking forward to our sessions
Martha was very understanding and attentive. Thank you so much for helping me through!
I live a very unpredictable lifestyle due to being a waiter, but Martha always seems to have time for me and my moans and groans. She's human, something I haven't found in a lot of therapists in the past and I feel as though someone finally gets me. I've not been using this service for long, but it's so nice to feel as though someone is genuinely on your side.
She’s is a great listener, give me the advice that I need to hear but isn’t harsh. Very kind and caring.
Martha helped me through the most difficult time of my life - truly a great great help right when I needed it. 10/10 would recommend to any young adults going through issues!!
Martha is really patient and understanding. Speaking with her felt like someone was really listening to what I had to say and when I felt like I wasn't sure what words to use to describe how I felt, she kind of knew exactly what I meant. It's been a pretty positive first experience with counseling for me.
Martha is receptive, kind, and conscientious. She is very open-minded and has life experience to help provide guidance and support. I feel she actively listens and is able to effectively identify places where support is needed.
I LOVE MARTHA. She is so kind and understanding. She makes me laugh and always knows just what to say. She responds to everything I say, happy or sad. There's been times where her advice makes all of my anxieties at the time disappear. It's nice to feel like there's somebody on my side for once.
Very available and accommodating. She is very sweet.
