Taylor helped me during a tough time in my life and I’m in such a much better place. We are all imperfect and I’m still working on things that are different but I feel equipped to handle all internal challenges as a result of Taylor.

Taylor excels at allowing you the freedom to express yourself without judgement while remaining extremely disciplined in her therapeutic approach. I started almost 1 year ago and my life has literally had a full 180 since then for the better. Knowing how to recognize that I am in control of my life was just a tremendous for me as I struggled with self confidence. Finding joy within and not from external sources that really don’t care was also a game changer. My entire approach to life has been modified and I’m beyond grateful to have Taylor be a pivotal catalyst of this transformation.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in the state of Connecticut with 5 years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, substance use and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I’ve been working with Taylor for almost 8 months now. So much in my life has shifted for the better as a result of Taylor’s approach. Healing is hard. As an African American and Latino man, suppressing emotions and dealing with them silently is the norm. Having Taylor confidently show me that expressing and most importantly controlling emotions is a sign of strength and not weakness was mind altering. Knowing what’s underneath the surface of my emotions, identifying them, articulating myself, setting healthy respectful boundaries and cutting myself some slack for messing up was the best thing to ever happen to me. Honestly life altering. Thank you Taylor.
Taylor had truly helped me to become more in touch with my emotions, consider the underlying feelings and techniques to manage it all.
Taylor is an active listener, gives great advice, uses kind words, and makes me feel human. I personally feel like we made a good connection from day 1. She also checks in weekly, especially if she hasn’t heard from me in a while
