I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Colorado , Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona. I can also provide EMDR and/or brain spotting therapy. I have worked in the helping field for over 10 years, and as a counselor for the last 5 years. I have worked inpatient, outpatient and with a wide array of clients at every age, and stage of life. I have worked with clients with a myriad of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, PTSD, Eating Disorders, codependency and substance misuse. I also worked with many people who have experienced physical trauma and abuse. I have experience using DBT, CBT, EMDR, brainspotting, PIT, aromatherapy, and solution focused modalities.

My counseling style is engaging and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychoeducation, and EMDR (when appropriate) or brainspotting. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to help support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I’ve had a few sessions with Rachel so far. They have all been great and I look forward to the next one. Rachel is easy to talk with, she checks in with you. Being one of my first experiences with counseling it is way better than I imagined. The flexibility of doing it remotely and around schedule that works for all is great. It doesn’t add extra stress to have to leave work to drive and go meet with someone. I feel heard and supported so far!
