Dr. Reed has an exceptional ability to hear and see through struggles even over the phone. His capacity for providing care is only matched by consistency with his humanistic values. I found him in one of the most muddled, dark and existentially frightening period of my life thus far. I was lost in alcohol and lost physically. Just through a few weeks working together I had learned the presence of mind to detox and seeking rehabilitation.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado and I have been practicing for the past 16 years as a counselor. I have a great deal of experience with clients with various concerns including depression, anxiety, panic disorders, relationship difficulties and addictions.

My approach to counseling is predominantly cognitive-behavioral, though I am passionate about existential and humanistic approaches to counseling and have a great deal of experience in addressing clients with existential concerns. Because of my alignment with humanistic approaches to counseling, I value an engaging and genuine interaction with my clients.

As a veteran of the U.S. Army and a veteran of the Iraq war, I am uniquely suited to the concerns of other veterans and have experience in counseling veterans, first responders and their families. As a Licensed Addiction Counselor, I have many years of experience in working with clients in recovery from substance addiction and other addictive behaviors.

Seeking out counseling is an important part of engaging in a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. I look forward to helping you meet your goals!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
