Lori is extremely thoughtful and an incredible listener. She understands where I'm coming from as a patient and offers validation when it is needed and advice to grow as a person. I come out of our sessions feeling really good, and that's something I really needed.

Lori has given me some practical, easy to put in place ways of coping after just a couple of sessions. She is genuine in her concern and also supportive while still asking me to dig a bit more into things. She seems warm and friendly and I enjoy our sessions.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Great therapist.

Many years of therapy over the last 20 years yet I've never felt more at ease when having a session. With Lori it doesn't feel like 'a session' , rather a catch up with a caring relative or other person I have respect for. Lori seems to give a genuine part of herself. The caring seems to travel right through the phone or video. I am a fan of Better Help and its ability to expertly match therapists to clients. They checked every single box when matching me with Lori. Dive in. It's not scary. Even when it feels scary you'll be in safe hands.

Lori was so wonderful to work through a few things with. It only took a few sessions for me to really progress through some challenging things and I am really grateful for her and your expertise!

Lori helped me deal with several issues that were grounded in personal insecurity and perceptions of rejection and anger. She has a kind ear but also provides specific useful methods to help overcome mental blocks and helps solve your underlying problems. If I ever need assistance in the future I would certainly look to Lori again.

Lori Stalcar has been really nice and understanding, always available and easy to talk and open up with. She’s been the first counselor i’ve been matched with and i’ve never had thoughts of changing! She’s really helping me. I’d strongly recommend her!

Lori is a great resource! I’ve always felt heard, respected, and comforted in sessions, and had amazing progress discussing my emotions and working on my mental health. I liked that Lori’s style was open ended— with less emphasis on asking pointed questions and more focused on open conversations. I fully recommend working with Lori!

Lori has been great. She listens and hears what I am attempting to express. I’ve had two sessions with her already and can see an abundance in progression. The thing is, with mental help- you get out of it what you put into it and people like Lori are there to help us find out more about ourselves. She is awesome- truly a great woman.
