Working with Elizabeth the past 6 months has been incredibly helpful. When we started, I felt like an anxious, new-mother mess but our meetings really helped to ground me and sort my thoughts and feelings. I highly recommend working with her and plan to continue doing so myself.

  • LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Colorado. I spent the previous decade living in Alaska, where I completed my Master's in Social Work from the University of Alaska in Anchorage and gained clinical experience working with diverse individuals, couples and families.

Solution-focused and cognitive behavioral strategies are a cornerstone of my work, as well as use of mindfulness and stress reduction skills. I am experienced at supporting people coping with symptoms of depression, anxiety and trauma, as well as other common life experiences, such as career and relationship changes, parenting challenges, and grieving the loss of a loved one . My training in Gottman Institute couples therapy can be applied to a range of concerns, from growing a family to working through affairs and trauma. Additionally, as a Certified Perinatal Mental Health provider through Postpartum Support International, I want to support women, men and their families through the massive changes that accompany pregnancy and the postpartum period.

I believe in the resilience of people and that emotional healing is possible. I take pride in building a professional relationship with clients quickly, through empathy, compassion and even humor when appropriate. I would be honored to walk alongside you on the journey to wellness.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Elizabeth is one of those people you almost immediately feel comfortable talking to. She gives you multiple ways to go about things. Asks questions and helps you to your goals. She helps get the thoughts that are in your head out and in a safe place to process without judgment. She also makes sure your feelings are validated and that you know youre in a safe place to express them

I have done regular therapy for years, but this is my first time doing telehealth and I’m o grateful that I was matched with Elizabeth. I have gone through the largest rollercoasters of my life in the last 3 months and Elizabeth has been there to help me keep grounded and realistic every step of the way. Sometimes I really just need a sounding board and sometimes I need a direction that I don’t want to hear. Elizabeth is very thoughtful in her advice, she listens to what I’m saying and checks in to make sure the direction we are going in is correct. She has been a blessing in my darkest hours and I can recommend her to anyone with confidence.

It hasn't been long but Elizabeth is very attentive and positive. She has been helpful, but truthfully I should probably get past the introduction before I am conducting reviews on people.

Elizabeth is amazing. She does a great job of meeting me where I am and making my goals feel achievable. And she makes me laugh. She makes therapy a big highlight of my week.

Reviewed August 2020

Even in our first conversation — and my first ever therapy session — Elizabeth immediately made me feel comfortable enough to open up. It felt like we'd been working together for awhile. She provided me with good advice, talked through my issues and sent me an article following our conversation.

Reviewed May 2020

Elizabeth was great! She was reactive, offered good advice, had me do good exercises and readings and was there when I needed her. I'd highly recommend Elizabeth.
