Kelly really is a gem. She one of the most compassionate and caring people I’ve met in my life. I’ve had sessions with her ever since the pandemic started and she has given me so much more than I can ask for. She has been there every step of the way with warmth and compassion, and she has allowed me to truly find myself. If you have Kelly as a therapist then you hit the lottery, you truly are lucky. Kelly really should be the bar for therapists. The thing that is so different with Kelly is that she truly truly cares for your well-being and your betterment which makes you feel very secure and hopeful about the future no matter what you are dealing with. If you have Kelly as your therapist then you will truly be eternally grateful and remember her for the rest of your life :)

Hi, I am glad you are looking for a resource to address what is happening for you during this time of change. It takes courage, insight and determination to take these steps for yourself. Whether you select me as your therapist , or not, I hope you will keep on this path. I am a licensed clinical social worker with more than 20 years of experience in many different settings, including schools, community mental health, hospitals, nursing homes and private practice. I have worked with teenagers through the elderly. I think connecting with people in a genuine and supportive manner is essential to growth. My approach is built on collaborating with my clients, by providing a safe and supportive place, to identify their goals, improve their lives and how they feel.

I am more of a generalist, drawing from many approaches, including, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused, brief therapy, strengths-based, family systems, internal family systems and dialectical behavioral therapy.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
