I’ve only had a couple of sessions with Justin to date, but my experience thus far has been very positive. Justin processes a very warm, calm, and receptive demeanor. He’s attentive and continues to follow up throughout the week between sessions (very thoughtful). In addition, he will provide material relevant to our discussions for me to consider in between sessions. Overall, I would recommend Justin, and look forward to continuing our talks.

It is not success that builds us, but how we handle adversity that creates character.

Hello! I am a Clinical Social Worker, licensed in California with approximately 15 years of experience in Chemical Dependency, Addictions and psychotherapy. In all that time I have met numerous people walking different paths and living different experiences in life. There is no one size fits all in therapy, each of us is an individual, worthy of the dignity and respect that comes with our own lived story.

I utilize a strengths-based approach in a non-judgmental and safe environment.

I describe my technique as Rogerian and Client focused. I utilize Cognitive-Behavorial Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment approaches.

I look forward to hearing from you. Come, let us walk the path together for now.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
