I feel incredibly fortunate to have connected with Pamela. From the start, she went above and beyond by reaching out multiple times before our first video session, which was especially meaningful during a difficult time for me. Her quick support made a significant difference. I found her to be warm and easy to talk to, and I truly appreciate her understanding and guidance in helping me navigate my situation. Highly recommend!

Thank you for reading my profile – I hope I will get a chance to meet with you soon!

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed by the state of California, Board of Behavioral Sciences, LMFT #117301, with nine years of counseling experience working with adults, children and teenagers, individually and in groups. When working with adults, I find it helpful to remember and honor the precious children they once were, and to strive to treat them with the sensitivity, kindness, patience and unconditional positive regard that they still need and deserve now that they are grown up.

I look forward to working with you to increase your resilience and psychological flexibility, so that you can be more open, aware and engaged in life. I will encourage you to explore your own values and help you to take positive actions towards them. I hope to help you to feel better, have more fulfilling relationships and feel empowered to lead a more meaningful life.

My counseling style is based on a special client-centered relationship that is caring, respectful, genuine and accepting, to encourage your self-compassion and personal growth. I use an eclectic approach of evidence-based practices that best suit your individual strengths and needs, and that provide you with coping skills you can use when you need them. We can also explore the use of mindfulness training and the power of metaphors to help you tap into your own brainpower.

These are difficult times. Even in times like these we can still find meaning, and move towards hope, individuation and joy! I would be honored to be a small part of your life journey. I would like to help you to explore and expand your own unique potential!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Pamela is extremely kind and caring and uses a lot of great tools and strategies for learning to heal. She uses relatable stories and anecdotes to let you know that you’re not alone in how you’re feeling. She also sends plenty of additional worksheets and information for you to fill out between sessions (if you choose to) to keep you on track. Thanks Pamela for the less clinical and more personal approach.

It’s only been a short time that I’ve been receiving therapy services with Pamela, and already I feel like she got to the heart of the matter and provided applicable strategies in a very quick fashion, but in also a caring and genuine way. I appreciate her so much. BetterHelp has been a great choice after seeking therapy for a long time but not getting anywhere with therapy through my medical provider and being unable to match with a therapist locally. I’m very lucky that I got matched with Pamela and would recommend her expertise to anyone who is seeking help.
