Michelle has helped me, been there for me and helped me process my thoughts. She has also helped me learn about how to set boundaries and what to say through text and in person when it comes to family conflicts.

Hello! I am so happy for you to be here. I am a Licensed Marriage/Family Therapist, licensed in California. I have been primarily working in the world of foster care and adoption, helping couples and families navigate the often heart-wrenching world of foster, adoption, and infertility. I have also worked with children and teenagers in the foster care system, helping them adjust to new placements and the repetitive grief and loss they experience. As a result, much of my expertise also involves family and relationship issues. I have also worked with clients on stress management, relationship conflict, anxiety, and parenting issues.

My counseling approach is to build a relationship with you and help you discover what your goals are, and walk alongside you as you meet them. I understand it is difficult to begin this process and will be constantly mindful of how valuable your trust is. I encourage my clients to give me their feedback on what is working for them, what isn't, and how we can adjust as we move forward in the therapeutic relationship. I look forward to meeting with you!

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I’ve always been very anti- counseling. I’ve had negative experiences in the past, so when I started with a Michelle I didn’t know what to expect. Overall she’s been amazing and has helped me in such a short period of time. I look forward to our weekly session and she definitely challenges me to dig deeper and make positive changes in my lifestyle.

Michelle has been a tremendous help in my healing process and has appropriately provided new methods to deal with my trauma, stress and anxiety. She is always on time and quick to respond. Great listener and seems to be easily able to mold a session into exactly what you need at that time. Highly recommend!!

We have only had one session but I appreciate her help and I think she has a great idea of what I am dealing with.
