Tina is very easy to talk to - like talking to a close trustworthy friend. I like that she is matter of fact and honest but in a kind way, and can point out things I'm not seeing.

I’ve only spoken with Tina once, as I’m new to this. I reached out through Focus on the Family and Tina contacted me within an hour or so from the time I submitted my profile. She took extra time that day to talk to me. She asked questions and let me share. She followed up with a text that was such a sweet surprise. I liked that. She also gave me a couple suggestions which I’ve been implementing since our phone conversation. Hopeful.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Tina is amazing! Definitely a great match for me. It was great to hear about her experience in the field and how many different areas during our first call. I would definitely recommend Tina, she is kind, understanding and real about what you bring to each session. I really enjoyed the over the phone meetings, no pressure of video, or driving to an appt, but could be comfortable and relaxed in my own space.
