In my past experiences, I have had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life. I became a culturally competent therapist, especially with ethnic groups who struggle with multicultural issues (intergenerational conflict, acculturation, immigration, and stereotypes/discrimination). I can provide therapy in English and Korean.

By using evidence based practices such as EMDR, we will look into your past and develop awareness and insight into emotional and physical well-being. EMDR is a great tool to resolve trauma related issues and build self-empowerment. I can help you heal your past and find your inner peace in the present time. Hong has a bullet proof approach to tackling a variety of issues. He is hyper focused on solutions not just the problems. I get regular video sessions where he helps me process the most complicated mental entanglements. I get regular messages in which Hong checks on my mood and progress. Most of the time I don't need the help in between our video sessions, but it is really nice to have someone who cares checking in on you. After our sessions, I typically feel relaxed and ready to handle difficult situations. He is my counselor but he seems like more of a friend. I would recommend Hong to anyone.

Mr. Jeong is very helpful and insightful of feelings I display that I tend to overlook. I really appreciate his efforts and he really takes the time to hear about my feelings and what I go through. He also suggests and responds in positive and healthy ways that make me feel that I can overcome anything I am facing. He also is very responsive and gives a lot of worksheets which I find so helpful.
