All I can say is she is awesome and truly cares.

I have been seeing Deborah for 6 months now and she has been such a blessing to my life. She has helped me get through such a hard time in my life and gave me skills to use to better myself and my life. She is such a joy to talk to and I consider her more of a friend than a therapist. Our talks are always so beneficial and I feel like I have just finished a conversation with a friend who has professional advice. I recommend Deborah to anyone going through a break up or any other hard time.

Hello . My name is Deborah Bledsoe and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialty in Drug and Alcohol and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas in 1999. I have gone on to further my education and knowledge with Rehabilitation Counseling at University of Arkansas Little Rock and I am also a certified tobacco interventionist.

I work with individuals and families with a wide range of concerns, including mood disorders, depression, substance abuse, trauma-informed care, family relations problems, communication, anger management, life changes and compassion fatigue. I come from an eclectic approach to counseling, but by the client’s presenting concerns, motivation and goals, the therapies that could be used are client centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy psychodynamic therapy, solution focused therapy and trauma-informed care. I am a counselor of color, with over twenty years in counseling, substance abuse and mental health. I would be a good match for someone seeking an older and mature counselor.

Life as we have once known has dramatically changed, which has brought struggles and overwhelming challenges to face daily. I would like to help you provide solutions to these challenges that you face. If you make the first step to seek help, I will walk with you. If you are willing to put the work in you will see a much healthier you.

I look forward to being a part of your journey to a fulfilled life.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Listens, understanding help you to see both problem(s) and/or possible solution(s); tells you what you need to hear not what you want to hear.

Wonderful therapist, great outlook and perspective on life. I appreciate that she has been through things and can give me strong advice that I can lean on when I’m being indecisive due to having lived and went through things herself. Excellent communication skills, I do not feel that I have to do too much for her to understand me and my perspective. I highly recommend her to anyone struggling in their own life. She is attentive, she listens and she remembers from session to session what was being discussed.

Deborah is excellent! She is a great listener while keeping me focused on and getting to the root of the issues I'm dealing with. I signed up with her when I was really struggling with anxiety due to some changes at home and work and she helped me find coping mechanisms to get through until those issues could be resolved. I definitely recommend her.

I only had the opportunity to talk with Deborah for 3 sessions, but I am very grateful to her for her time. This was my first ever experience talking to a therapist, but Deborah's emphasis on making sure that I was comfortable helped me greatly to relax and to be willing to keep going. I'm disappointed that I will not be able to continue working with her moving forward, but as this was her doctor's recommendation, I understand how important it is also to "heal the healer." I wish her nothing but the best in the future, and for every blessing she has been to me and others, I hope that those blessings are magnified and returned to her.

Ms. Deborah has been a wonderful therapist to work with. Sometimes I feel a little bit intimidated by therapists in the sense that their style of therapy is too sterile or too “medical” but I never felt even a shred of that with Ms. Deborah. She is very genuine and warm - sessions with her felt more like catching up with a friend or family member, and I love that! She helped me get through some major life transitions and lots of hard news. I’m very grateful for her role in my mental health care. Thank you Ms. Deborah!

She’s very intuitive in finding out what needs to be explored and tries to help you get to a place/direction you need to go from a caring understanding.

Deborah made me feel welcome, heard, and comfortable. She really listened to me. If she saw that I would just nod my head or say umm hmm, she knew there was more and allowed me to elaborate on my feelings. Definitely recommend Better Help and Deborah for those looking to seek counseling.
