Hello and welcome! My name is Stephanie Zeid and I am a Licensed Psychologist and Neuropsychologist in the Houston, TX area. I work with individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, health conditions, and complex medical problems. I combine different therapeutic approaches based on my patients’ presenting concerns, goals, and motivation, such as, cognitive-behavioral, brief therapy, mindfulness, client-centered, supportive, and solution-focused therapy.

The world today can be a scary and uncertain place, and it can be challenging to manage these concerns on your own. I really enjoy working with Dr. Zeid. I am new to counseling. And she does a really good job at listening to my concerns/issues. She asks all the right questions and really makes me think on things. She also helps me stay engaged with the services by reaching out to me. Which really helps and makes me feel like I do matter .

I love how supported and validated I feel when sharing my experiences- I have a tendency to gaslight myself, so it’s nice to have my feelings and experiences validated and given a response

I like Dr. Zeid because she was so quick to try and figure out what was going on and how to help. I had to ask for a counselor change because the one I had just wasn’t the right fit for me. Dr. Zeid sent me calming and grounding strategies immediately before she even got to know me, she got the ball rolling right away. She’s realistic but empathetic at the same time.
