Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Amy has been great. Connected with her on our first session after trying a few other therapists over the years. Very helpful, she is the first therapist who I feel really listened to me about some childhood and adult concerns.

Amy has helped me tremendously in the time she has been my therapist. She made me realize things I've never considered and I learned how to show compassion for myself as well as other. I recommend Amy highly. I was lost and she put me on my path to finding myself.

I worked with Amy for about 10 months mostly on anxiety and work-related stress. She helped me identify patterns I hadn't noticed before, and taught me a number of skills to address my anxiety. She has always been responsive, positive, and very perceptive. I was really struggling when I began therapy with Amy, and she helped me find my footing again and put me back on track. I still have plenty of work to do, but Amy helped me develop the skills I needed to continue to develop during and after therapy.

Amy is absolutely wonderful and a joy to talk to. I spent the last two months talking to her, working through specific issues from work to family and relationships and feel like I’ve had breakthroughs in every aspect whether during our sessions or after. This was my first time going to therapy and I am very lucky to have been paired with her. She is kind and patient, understood my needs without jumping to conclusions and I appreciated my time with her very much. Thank you!!

I feel very lucky to have found Amy. I’ve sought out therapy many times in my life and she’s already up there with my favorites. She creates a very welcoming and safe environment, and I feel that all of her feedback is consistently on point and that she does an amazing job of helping you set goals and move forward step by step through your healing process. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone.

In the short amount of time I have spoken to Amy I have come away with a clearer, more positive mindset. I can go into these sessions sceptical about what I am going to get out of it but they can be excellent and I recommend to anyone who's on the fence to just try it.
