I believe that the narratives that we live with greatly determine how we experience life and express ourselves. My passion is to meet clients in that space of their story and help them move towards their goals in an effective and caring way utilizing a client-centered approach and the latest in relevant clinical research.

I have an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from a CACREP university. I am an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), an NCC (National Certified Counselor), and am working on several different certifications in trauma. I have over 20 years of experience working with all age groups in various contexts, such as private practice, community mental health, college counseling centers, and other non-profit settings. In addition to that, I am also a Clinical Director that oversees three different sites and several interns.

I also have an extensive sports background. I was a four-sport athlete in high school, first-team all-state in basketball, and competed as an NCAA Division II scholarship student-athlete in basketball. I understand the toll that sports can have on an athlete's mental health because of the pressure to perform academically and athletically.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
