Hello! Reaching out to ask for help demonstrates your strength and courage. I am honored to walk with you and help you find hope in your story. As you to lean in, we will work together to identify your strengths and your goals to help you move through this next chapter. I will teach you ways to help you manage and regulate your emotions to help you improve the quality of your life and your relationships.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Substance Abuse Counselor in Wisconsin with specialty training in Marriage and Family Therapy. Over the past 18 years, I have been working with children, teens, and adults. I have provided counseling in outpatient clinics, schools, psychiatric facilities, universities and in client homes.

I am especially attuned to those who have experienced trauma and loss. I work with those who suffer with depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, perfectionism, mood instability, DMDD/Bi-polar disorder, eating disorders, and self harm behaviors, including substance use. I work with adolescents and adults with ADHD and those who struggle with anger management. I help those I work with improve self-esteem and build self confidence. We work together to create self-awareness, explore emotions and use relaxation techniques to create a foundation that you can carry with you to cope with test anxiety, job interviews, friendship difficulties, and overall stress. I teach healthy communication and conflict resolution skills. We all have those moments when we need to learn how to communicate differently and feel heard by those we care about. I work with parents as they move through their children's life stages and provide family counseling to promote healing within the family. We are all impacted by each other.

As a therapist, I practice from a person-centered, holistic, integrative perspective, using warmth and compassion to meet you where you are. I use a collaborative approach during our sessions and treatment planning based on your individual needs. I take into consideration your prior experience with counseling. I am family systems trained in my approach and recognize the ripple effect we have on others around us. I integrate healthy lifestyle techniques to improve emotional health and overall well-being by addressing sleep habits, exercise and eating patterns. I specialize in mindfulness-based interventions, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy ( CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am also trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Brainspotting.

Despite those moments that shake us to our core, we have the ability to get back up and move through life's challenges. We are all in different seasons in our lives. We grow through experiences that often change us and how we see the world. Throughout each chapter we move through, we can become stuck and may have a difficult time moving through painful experiences to a place of healing. I see resiliency and strength in our ability to grow through what we go through. I work to draw that out of each person I have the privilege to work with. You are not broken and are enough in your most broken and whole moments. During our time together, we will work to help you lean in and become the best version of yourself!

I am a wife, mom and beach lover. I love to read, take walks and enjoy beauty in the smallest of details, I am grateful for all the moments.

I look forward to walking with you for a time, as you share your story!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
