I think it was pure luck that I got matched with Amanda, but I am so happy that I was! I signed up for BetterHelp through an EAP with my work to deal with an urgent social issue. Eventually that issue was resolved, but I chose to continue working with Amanda on my relationships, which I hadn’t nurtured through therapy in the past. The text based therapy was very new to me, but worked really well for my personal communication style.
