Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.

My name is Amy and I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in Vermont and New Hampshire and am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania. I have over six years of experience providing individual counseling and over 15 years working in the mental health field. Through my diverse experiences, I have worked with people challenged by anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, substance use, relationship issues, and difficult life transitions. I believe that together we can develop a plan that works for you, identify strategies and skills to get you there, and the confidence to keep it going long after.

My therapeutic work is informed by evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior therapies. These types of focuses offer you practical ways to manage uncomfortable thoughts and painful emotions. When needed, I also utilize Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Acceptance and Commitment therapy to enhance your skills and insight.

I approach clients with sensitivity and compassion, in a non-judgmental environment that allows you the space and safety you need to explore, be honest, and heal. In our work together, we will collaborate and actively pursue your goals to get you moving toward the life you want to live! I look forward to working with you.

Amy has been incredible. She listens closely, and even takes notes as I have found she is drawing my thoughts and feelings to experiences I've told her about previously. She is kind and supportive, and extremely empowering. She asks me questions that make me really think and dig deep. Best of all, she is so helpful in helping me create a path forward. I often get stuck in hard times, and she is there to listen and offer understanding, by not just being a safe place to speak, but helps create attainable... manageable goals that dont feel like homework. She also sends journaling topics, articles, etc each week to stay connected and engaged. And on top of that, she responds SO quickly. I couldnt give a higher recommendation.

I have been with Amy since July of 2021, and she has helped me so much. She has gotten to the bottom of my anxiety and is helping me deal with it. She is absolutely amazing. I would recommend her to anyone. She listens, she understands, and she helps you understand why you feel the way you do. I cannot imagine what my life would be without Amy. She is truly amazing.
