More about Stacy

Hello! My name is Stacy and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been in the field of social services for over 20 years and have worked in multiple settings including outpatient, partial, and inpatient with clients of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. In addition, I have helped clients with various issues, including, but not limited to: depression, stress and anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship problems, parenting struggles, and low self-esteem.

I believe that the client-provider relationship is critical to the therapeutic process and strive to create a warm, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe exploring past or present challenges, thoughts, and emotions, as well as an environment that will allow you to work on your identified goals, learn and practice skills to help alleviate distress, and identify any unhelpful thinking patterns that may be keeping you from living your best life.

I bring to my work the wisdom, compassion, and humor of many years working as a therapist, and as an individual committed to my own growth and wellbeing. Clients appreciate my authenticity, enthusiasm, integrity, and presence. And I appreciate and honor those allowing me in to their lives to provide support, guidance, growth, and healing.

Reaching out for help is hard -- suffering is harder. If you think we might be a good fit, please connect with me and we can take it from there.

Warm regards,

Stacy

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
