Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Melissa has been a great help to me. She realized what my problem was and gave me the right direction to settle the issues I was having.
I’ve been seeing Melissa for a couple weeks now and she’s awesome! I appreciate her listening to me and giving me helpful tips.
Melissa is very knowledgeable, patient and cares about her patients.
Writing this at the end of a year where my partner and I began our exploration into ethical non-monogamy and I realized I had a lot of unresolved issues with anxiety and jealousy that I wasn't managing well at the time. Melissa was a great resource for me to get my feelings out about what I was experiencing and was able to offer other tools for me to help manage said anxieties about opening up the relationship. That was back towards maybe August or so, and wrapping up the year in December, I am feeling much more confident in my choices. I feel I have better tools to manage myself when a wave of anxiety washes over me. Melissa was a great person to talk to through these past several months and i was able to feel heard and validated in what I was experiencing, as well as being appropriately told when I was perhaps being unfair to my partner and how I could discuss things with them. This was my first time going to therapy, and I was very impressed with how Melissa was able to work with me when I needed her help.
Excellent therapist with intuitive understanding of a diverse set of issues, and a therapeutic toolset geared toward wellness and self-development over medication. 110% Reccommended!
Melissa helped me navigate some challanging relationships with loved ones who are addicts. She is compassionate, insitful and truly listens.
I really appreciated Melissa’s support. She was easy to talk to and it felt like she was asking me all the right questions, which helped me realize some of the habits I want to build or let go of. She shared a lot of helpful tips and resources that I’ve been appreciating as well. In four weeks, I already feel like I have several tools to manage my anxiety.
I joined Better Help to help ease anxieties around returning to work in a more “normal” capacity. I was paired with Melissa and she was really great! She listens, helped me take a step back and look at the bigger picture, and encouraged me to let go of things I can’t (and shouldn’t) control.
Melissa Collins was a great therapist! She is a fantastic listener and was able to help me really well with the question and issues I was facing. I will definitely come back to her if I ever feel like talking through things in my life and am very grateful for the experience!
I never knew how much therapy could help. I feel like I have a journal who’s an actual person. Takes the time to listen to me and let me let everything go
