Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Gwen is amazing. She’s helped me through so much. I love having her as a therapist.

Reviewed February 2023

Nikki is both insightful and grounded in her approach. I’ve probably been to 6 therapists in my life, but none of them explained to me how to be a therapy patient. No one before Nikki grounded me in the balance between work in and outside of the sessions. And because we had that foundation she was able to gain a level of insight into me that no other therapist had ever come close to. She has given me simple yet sophisticated tools to make my life tangibly better.

She’s great. She always checks on me and nevera gives up on me even though I know I’m giving her a hard time sometimes. She’s helped me so much.

Reviewed July 2022

Gwendolyn is a very nice woman, however I was not exactly impressed with her as a therapist. I feel like I was talking to a girlfriend rather than getting professional help. Which would be fine, but I don’t expect much from a girlfriend and do expect more from someone who is in this career field. I’m also a stickler for punctuality, and she was late to every session.
