Sarah was patient but practical in meeting my needs. She helped me develop a structure and routine for basic life needs, but also helped me understand and cope with my mental health needs. Sarah has been more than patient with helping me understand my relationship with alcohol. I couldn’t recommend Sarah enough!

I am a licensed social worker from South Carolina and enjoy working with teens and adults through various challenges. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns to include but not limited to: depression, anxiety, addiction, severe persistent mental illness, antenatal/postpartum and parenting concerns, trauma, and relationship stress. My early training included working with school aged children to address conditions such as ADHD, ODD, and ASD. I have not found it easy to work with young children through online methods of therapy, but I am open to working with parents to help them navigate such concerns with their children.
My therapeutic style is one of warmth and positive regard. With a patient-centered approach, I see each client as the expert on his or her life and myself as a facilitator to help uncover skills and knowledge to solve life's concerns. I believe in the ability of everyone to grow and change.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
