Hello! My name is Dr. Lori Malkasian. I have a Psy.D. in counseling and have been helping others for the past 20 years! Life sometimes hands us situations that are just too difficult to deal with on our own. The good news is that you don't have to! Together we can discuss the issues that you are struggling with to find more effective strategies to manage these difficulties. I specialize in work with adolescents and treat a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, and anger problems. Sometimes it just takes an outside perspective to help you gain a better understanding of what is going on in your life. I'm happy to help you work through these difficulties.
I specialize in work with adolescents and adults. There are so many issues that teens face; growing up is so difficult especially with all the technology that kids can access! I can help your child navigate through these challenging times.
I help teens and adults deal with a variety of issues such as social skills, school problems, anger management, depression, anxiety, and family issues. Parenting is the most difficult job in the world but you don't have to do it alone. Together we can get your family on track!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Such a good therapist! straight to the point but always in a respectful way. I feel comfortable with her and did amazing progress in my life In only a couple of months. She’s a very good person who cares on top of having the rights skills to make a real difference in your life.
Great to work with , very friendly and helpful and easy to talk too , I feel like we are Great match :)
Just when I was ready to believe that I was broken and not 'suitable' for counselling after many failed attempts. Dr Malkasian appeared on the day I was ready to give up and has changed the view I view my life already in 4 weeks. I have a long way to go and Dr Malkasian makes me put the work and thought in and is always honest. If like me , you feel like no one understands you, please give her a try! I am a 27 year old black woman from London but Dr Malkasian understands deeply.
She is very understanding and easy to talk with.
I have been in contact with Dr Malkasian for a few weeks now and she has definitely put things into perspective for me to understand my feelings and thoughts. I look forward to continue working with her on my issues and I can highly recommend her.
