Ruth is a very understanding person, she has helped me to understand things about myself that I haven't necessarily considered. She also understands the limitations of working full time and how that affects my free time to be able to have appointments or video chats. I would recommend her to anyone, she is so knowledgeable and empathetic. She's awesome.

Ruth is absolutely amazing! I don't have enough good things to say about this sweet, caring, empathetic, and intelligent lady! You know right from the start that she is highly experienced and knows what she is doing. Ruth is extremely gifted in guiding conversations and you don't feel like you spent the entire hour talking about yourself by the end of it. She's also very patient and never rushes you. I could not have been matched with a better counsellor for my first attempt at therapy!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I started talking to Ruth a couple of months ago and she has really been a great anchor to talk to during the ups and downs of my life. Talking to someone is intimidating at first, but Ruth has always made me feel comfortable. She gives me great insight on my own thoughts and behaviors that allow me to view myself in a different light. I highly recommend!

I was sceptical using an online program for counselling, but decided to give it a shot on my free trial. I am now in love with it! My counsellor, Ruth Dombrowski, is amazing! I not only can schedule a video session weekly, but I also can chat back and forth throughout the week through the messaging program! Ruth is great for giving me tips to cope, and has discovered things about me that no previous counsellor I’ve had did. We can laugh and be serious during the sessions. I feel so comfortable talking to her, which I was worried about with it being over video and not in person. I am so happy I decided to try BetterHelp and never want to stop!
