Vanity makes therapy so easy! She is patient, professional, personable, and so helpful. For me it was like having that friend that teaches you, guides you, and understands. She really breaks things down and takes the alone feeling that comes when you’re going through anything. She gives progressing advice and exercises that relates and helps with the growth of overcoming. I truly appreciate her and recommend her highly to anyone.

Hello,

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania and Delaware with over 18 years of experience serving in a variety of therapeutic settings including out-patient clinics, residential treatment facilities, schools, hospitals, and in homes. I have experience with children, adolescents, families, couples, individuals living with chronic health conditions and those who have experienced grief & loss. I like to take a Client Centered/Strengths Based approach to therapy. While I prefer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic techniques, I understand that the therapeutic process should be uniquely tailored to the individual and a variety of therapy models may be needed to achieve client success. Choosing a therapist is a big step and it is my objective to build a positive rapport, inspire trust and work with you towards goal achievement.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
