I owe a major debt of gratitude to Andrea for expertly and compassionately guiding me through a period of grief I was experiencing upon the sudden unexpected death of my dear husband. It seemed that I had lost complete control of my life. It was such a blessing to have been matched with her by Betterhelp. It was a leap of faith for me to log on to the Betterhelp site with the hope that maybe lI could find my way to a better psychological outlook.. So, it was a success, my working with Andrea. She, hands down, deserves the credit for helping me to come out of what I describe as the most significant loss in my life, my best friend, my husband. Thank you Andrea. You gave me the tools and support I needed to move forward in a positive direction.

Are you looking to make positive changes in your life? Do you need a supportive person who has the skills and experience to guide you on your journey? By investigating your past, identifying strengths and areas for growth in the present and setting goals for the future, I collaborate with clients to help them be their best selves.

My approach is eclectic using CBT, mindfulness-based and person-centered therapeutic modalities to treat the whole person. I specialize in working with adults and teens (14+) struggling with life transitions, mental health symptoms, LGBTQ+ issues, recovery from loss and addiction. I received my Master of Science degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia in 2015. While in graduate school, I completed my internship at a community mental health center where I provided group and individual therapy to adults at an intensive outpatient program. I have worked as a therapist in community mental health, private practice, college counseling and as a supervisor at an intensive outpatient program. As a group therapist, I have facilitated groups such as Art Therapy, Mindfulness, Women's Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Addiction and Life Skills.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) through the International Association of Professional Recovery Coaches (IAPRC). Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

A great person that listens and understands. Creates worksheets, discussions, and despite being very busy; she always returns a message.

Andrea helped me get through a very stressful, high-anxiety situation that I was experiencing at my job. Her support and encouragement enabled me to face my challenges with increased confidence, self-compassion, and self-care. After the situation at work improved, I continued to meet with Andrea for several weeks about other areas of my life that I wanted to work on. I am now in a new, good place mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. I am SO grateful to have connected with Andrea and for her help along my journey!

Andrea was a great counselor for me - she really listened to what I said and remembered all the important details we discussed. Andrea helped me through a really difficult time in my life and helped me stay sane! I highly recommend her and, when I inevitably need counseling again, will be thrilled to work with her again.
