Seeking help when in emotional distress can be challenging and isolating, and I hope to bring comfort and relief to that process. It can feel like no one understands what you might be experiencing, or may even be difficult to understand your own emotions. In processing those emotions, thoughts, or experiences, you can work towards achieving clarity, insight, and move forward towards acceptance and change. My initial goal in therapy is to make you feel comfortable and to build a therapeutic and healing relationship.

I have had the opportunity to work with clients with anxiety disorders (OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, etc), depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, co-occurring substance abuse/mental health diagnoses, relationship conflicts, bereavement, and behavioral diagnoses.

I utilize techniques from a myriad of therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic techniques, and an emphasis on mindfulness techniques. Experiencing emotional pain doesn’t have to continue and you don’t have to go through it alone.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
