Celeste is incredibly thoughtful, insightful, and compassionate. I generally have a lot of anxiety and fear around past traumas, but Celeste is a great listener and makes me feel safe and supported. I feel very lucky to have been matched with her!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon, and have been practicing in the mental health field in various capacities since graduating from college in 2013. For the past 2 years I have been working as a youth and family therapist in a school setting doing individual, group and family therapy. For the two years prior to working in the school setting I was a behavioral health consultant for adults receiving TANF services from the state, in this role I provided short term therapeutic services and helped connect adults to mental health, addiction, housing, and domestic violence services. When working with families I operate from a structural/strategic family therapy perspective, and when working with individuals I use a variety of strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, trauma and narrative therapy as well as truly believing in the power of mindfulness and approaching issues from a strengths-based perspective. I have experience dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, gender identity, stress, sleep, life transitions, family issues, and addiction.
I believe that we all have the capacity to make changes and that it takes so much strength to reach out for help. The therapeutic relationship has the potential to be a catalyst for change, and I strongly believe that my nonjudgmental approach to therapy allows my clients to feel safe enough to open up and make progress quickly.
I am really looking forward to speaking with you and starting your therapeutic journey together, as a team.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
