Coley is like a best friend, only better, because I know I can safely tell her everything. Not only does she actively listen, but she's able to absorb what I'm saying and offer feedback and suggestions that truly make a difference for me. We started with a focus on the big issue of PTSD, but have covered so many other topics. She doesn't lose focus of the big or little issues, circling back to previous discussions when it's appropriate to something we're currently discussing and pointing out how they are tied together. There's more I could write about, but I'd be here for a long time if I tried.

I have finished 3 sessions with Coley and I can say I am already feeling myself getting more comfortable with this process and am enjoying my talks with Coley. She makes me feel comfortable talking about things I have never shared with anyone and I am hopeful of what the next few months of working with her will bring me!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Coley is lovely. I've never had counseling before, and this has been nothing like I expected. I feel validated and heard, and that's not something I experience on a regular basis. It's nice to not feel judged when I talk about my issues.

Coley is a patient, objective listener who has provided me helpful suggestions. I like that she discusses articles she’s read or studies she’s seen when they pertain to what we’re talking about. She’s approachable and has a calm demeanor.

We’ve only had video one appointment, but it was very obvious that Coley is a great listener & has already given me some strategies to use throughout the week. I feel confident Coley will help me meet my goals.

I really like Coley and the flexibility that BetterHelp is offering with counseling. I have tried other platforms e.g. Ginger and not had a good experience.
