Gina does a wonderful job!! She listens to me, then offers wonderful guidance. She supports by reaffirming what the troubles are, while also giving techniques to work through those problems. She has provided resources that link exactly with what we’ve been discussing

Reviewed November 2024

Gina is very easy to talk to. She doesn’t just ask questions but she offers input. I really like having a conversation unlike most counselors where I feel like I am the only one talking.

I am a professional clinical counselor licensed in Ohio for the past 5+ years with over 10 years of experience working as a counselor. I am nationally certified in addiction counseling. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, ADHD and addiction. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I am currently being certified in EMDR to help clients process PTSD symptoms.

My counseling style is engaging, warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, rational-emotive counseling and solution-focused. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I will work with you to help change cognitive distortions and negative thinking. I will encourage you and support you as you do the work that it takes for change.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I was blessed to be assigned Gina as my counselor. It’s been a rocky start for me to believe that my life is of enough importance to accept her help and in the midst of changing that narrative, Gina has been extremely patient, kind and a beautiful woman of God to check on me constantly even when I was too down on myself to reply back. I’ve resolved this day to open myself up to finding my value and purpose and believe that Gina is the blessing provisioned to me to get me on and progress on my life’s path for His glory. I am grateful for Gina’s kindness and genuine care.

I really appreciate the way that she listens and advocates! She makes me feel comfortable to be myself and cry if needed. To put it in perspective, my job changed health providers and I could no longer see Gina through my insurance. Well, I had to come back to her regardless because she’s really helped me.
