Ladies... our lives aren't always easy. The demands and the expectations can be overwhelming, but we often push through. Sometimes to the point that we've pushed- through so long that it becomes the norm. But what happens when you no longer feel as though you have the energy or desire or will to keep going? Or you continuing to ignore those feelings of fatigue, stress, frustration, misunderstanding, depletion, sadness, etc? Have the struggles from past experiences, trauma encroached on your life and it's making your ability to manage your current stressors that much more difficult? Feeling as though no one understands your struggle and that you have no true outlet to express those feelings can be isolating. Maybe as a parent, you’ve been struggling with managing your child’s behaviors at home or in school and nothing seems to be working. Or as a young adult female you're struggling socially and/ or emotionally... trying to manage expectations, relationships, preparing to transition into/ out of college or currently in college and feeling overwhelmed. Have the pressures of young adulthood, womanhood, parenthood gotten to the point to where you feel that you have to do/ try something different? Regardless of the circumstances, life has a way of testing our strength, our fortitude. It can be exhausting. Well, believe it or not, you have the ability to take control. It will, however, take willingness, commitment, focus and possibly even delving into areas of your life (past or present) that may not be easy or desirable, albeit, necessary to explore. Many of those experiences may have manifested themselves in the unhealthiest of ways, which may now have impacted your relationships with loved ones, your job/ career, your schooling/ academics or other important areas of your life. With a focus on addressing and ultimately improving those areas of your life that you feel have created barriers to your success, happiness and fulfillment, we can work together so you can attain the balance that you want and need.

I have over twenty years of experience in the field of mental health and fifteen years of experience providing therapy to children/ adolescents (ages 5-15), young adults (ages 16+) and adults (ages 18-45). I have a great deal of experience in working with individuals that have experienced abuse and trauma, social struggles, anxiety, depression, issues within their familial or romantic relationships, difficulties communicating with others and anger issues. Currently, I am providing therapy for females only, ages 16- 40.

The therapeutic approaches that I utilize most often are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. If you’re ready to take charge of your life and move beyond those barriers that have caused you pain, fear and stagnation, give me a call. Together, we can work to get you where you’d like to be.
