Hello,

I am a social worker with 17 years experience working in New York. I work with both children and adults. I have a history of working with those with developmental disabilities, drug and alcohol addiction, the aging and their families as well as those who are depressed, anxious, suicidal, low self esteem or just need support due to feeling lost or something else; along with other mental health issues. I am laid back and enjoy talking with those from all over. I listen to what my clients tell me and work on their journey together. I will help you reach your goals through a safe, non confrontational relationship. We will identify your goals and tools to help you achieve these. I use various approaches such as Client Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

If you are ready to begin this journey please reach out to me. I look forward to helping you take your first steps in achieving your goals. I look forward to working with you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
