Greetings from Texas!I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. Though I have worked most of my professional life in the public school system, I have had the blessing of working in the private sector as well. I have worked closely with families going through the reunification process, as well as adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and aging challenges.

I will be the first to admit that life is tough sometimes! When it rains, it pours! It can feel like we are dealt cards that create insurmountable obstacles. Working together, I believe we can create a plan than will help you get through difficult times and create strategies to help power through future challenges. I believe in an approach that allows you to discover your own strengths through rapport building, reframing, and problem solving, with the goal of providing you the power to work through future difficult situations and struggles independently. My counseling style is very much relationship oriented. I believe everyone needs an individualized plan based on personal experiences, strengths, and available supports. I do not promise to have all of the answers; however, I promise to utilize my experiences, training, and expertise to stay committed to helping you accomplish your counseling goals. I look forward to establishing a strong working relationship that will enrich both of our lives!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Although I have yet to have a live session, Any still manages to respond to my journaling. I look forward to having a live session and see what she can teach me about myself through my journaling alone and what the future holds.
