I had never tried therapy before. I am pleasantly surprised at how interactive Chad is. I feel comfortable sharing personal thoughts and enjoy the way he ingages back and forth. In the few weeks we've spoken I have felt a weight lifted off my mind.

I am a person centered counselor in Montana with five years of experience serving the students, parents and families of the local school district. I have learned and used full scale Chippewa Cree tribal methods and practices to provide culturally relevant approaches to mental health in the community that I currently serve. I have experience with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My counseling style is non-judgemental, empathetic and supportive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, dignity and equality and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I expect you to come to the table with your issues, have things to talk about. I am here to provide perspective not to lead the conversation.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Chad has definitely helped me in looking at situations with different perspectives. There may be some things that need to be explored more, but sometimes I don't know what those things are (I don't know what I don't know). I feel like I'm missing something on somedays. Perhaps I shouldn't overthink this, as I am feeling better than when I started this process. I will just be happy with that.
