Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

You know, we each take our turn on the struggle bus. So I felt I needed someone to guide me through this rough patch. I was matched with a few other counselors, but our backgrounds lacked basic commonalities. Then I found Amanda. She is an experienced counselor, a mom, spiritual yet real, friendly and quick to offer encouragement as well as easy exercises to make positive changes. And it turns out that we both have adoptive daughters struggling with similar issues. Just the confirmation I needed that Amanda was what I needed to get through this season in my life. I would recommend her to others, even those with varied life experiences. She's honest, respectful and genuinely loves walking alongside others helping them through the tough times. I'd say, contact her. So grateful for Amanda!
