When we experience stressors, our life can seem to unravel. My passion is to help bring healing to those individuals, and to provide them a safe environment to do so. I strive to have a genuine and honest relationship with all my clients, and love to partner with them as they find their true selves. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life,as I am accepting, loving, and enjoy learning and growing professionally as well as personally. I know that a single approach might not be right for everyone, so I am trained to use various evidence based models to help my clients, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Focused- Behavioral Therapy. I also implement various other components from a variety of other theoretical models, such as Gestalt, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Existential.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I am someone who understands and has studied psychology. I can tell you without a doubt you can’t find a therapist who empathizes more than Lindsey. My issues are complex in nature and she has helped me greatly. She doesn’t treat everyone the same and just go through the motions. She treats her clients unique which not all therapists do. She is always there for me. I would recommend her to anyone but especially to those I care about.

Lindsey has always proven to be an excellent listener who can get at the center of an issue to work on its resolution. She is compassionate, understanding, and patient. She reaches out to me when we haven't communicated for a while. She also provides weekly guides to improving relationships-- with others or even yourself, which are helpful and insightful. Lindsey has been great! I feel like I’m getting a better understanding of myself. I’m going through a tough time and it’s been good to talk to someone and get my feelings out.

Reviewed December 2021

Lindsey is great! She is understanding and reassuring and validating, but she also makes sure I have something specific to work on each time we talk. She always has helpful tips that are simple but really make a difference. She is clear about when to expect responses and dependable in sticking to that, which is great for someone like me who assumes a delayed response means something terrible! She has helped me so much!

Reviewed November 2021

Lindsey has been extremely supportive and understanding when I needed her most. I am so grateful!

Reviewed September 2021

I’ve only been working with Lindsey for a short time, but she has listened to my needs and doesn’t pre-lead our conversations into off topics. She repeats things I’ve said back to me and doesn’t make overstatements on my progress or my past. I feel like I’m speaking to someone who is allowing me space to discover myself and what I need to heal and not placing me in a box. She is quick to respond, communicative and on time to our appointments.
