I am a licensed clinical social worker/therapist licensed in Minnesota with over 10 years of clinical experience and 21 years of professional experience working with people facing a variety of personal barriers or struggles. I am also a MN Board of Social Work approved clinical and non-clinical, licensing supervisor. I have been blessed, working with clients ranging from young children to the elderly dealing with varying issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues to anger management, family issues, physical, sexual and emotional abuse, incarceration, and disability related concerns to name a few. I have a lengthy & robust career working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and facing a broad range of challenges. I have worked almost exclusively with individuals who have serious mental illness for the vast majority of my professional career.

My counseling style is empathetic and goal-directed. I believe that approachability, focused listening and effective problem solving is the key to success in a therapeutic relationship and every client that I am blessed to serve will feel heard and empowered to achieve their goals. Being treated with dignity, respect and compassion are also the tenets that I abide by and will display that in every interaction and intervention. My approach combines a variety of theoretical perspectives designed to meet your needs, including solution-focused brief therapy, strengths therapy, and cognitive-behavior therapy to ensure that the highest level of outcomes are achieved as outlined by a unique treatment plan that will be tailored to your needs.

I look forward to working with you!
