I am a Catholic Licensed Psychologist who has been providing counseling services for over 25 years . My work history includes 20 years with District Court, Family Services, with a focus on divorce and custody issues; family mediation, and conflict resolution. I have also worked many years in a private practice clinic, where I saw couples and individuals, addressing a wide variety of mental health issues, and offering a variety of therapy and support services.

If you are seeking a Catholic or Christian Counselor, I am happy to include a faith based dimension in our therapy work together. For others who have no such interest, I am respectful o f all spirituality styles and we will work together accordingly. Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

One of my favorite things about therapy with Ann is that she has so many ways of being supportive. While she’s always friendly and appropriately enthusiastic, when I’ve needed it, and with my consent, she has also been very direct with me. When I was going through a particularly difficult life transition, she offered me a very necessary reality check. She also has said many things that I’ve been able to recall for support in my life after the session.
